The building, with its unique stucco façade, has enjoyed a rich history dating back to the 17th century and has always been a centre of culture. The name “Hotel Claude” was chosen in honour of Claude Devoize who, after a successful career in the opera, purchased it with her husband Don Juan Berjano with the intent of establishing an artist’s club, however, instead it became their private residence.
The building was meticulously renovated from 2004 to 2007, after which the Hotel Claude was decorated by Angell Gordon, one of Spain’s most renowned interior decorators. |
